SEng 499 - Design Project
Email Is For Everyone
My SEng 499 group designed a software system called Email Is For Everyone (EIFE). It was designed to allow email use for elderly and disabled users for who it was difficult and unsafe to use regular email. EIFE reduced email to its most basic features and allowed for users to intuitively write and read email messages without risk of breaking their configuration or forgetting what to do. A central feature of EIFE was the Guardian Angel system which protected users by having a trusted 3rd party manually vet any unconfirmed contacts.
